A Ghoulish Symphony

Be sure to come in costume for this ghoulish night at the symphony where we’ll mix some of the most popular symphonic greats with some eerie Halloween favorites. We’ll begin with special guest conductor, “The Invisible Maestro”, performing A Witches Sabbath from Berlioz’s Symphonie Fantastique. Next, Maestro Savery takes the podium with Hedwig’s Theme and Harry’s Wondrous World from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. Trumpeter Ryan Anthony, formerly of the world-renowned Canadian Brass, will join us performing Hummel’s jaunty concerto. Finally, we’ll do battle with the forces of fate in what has become the most famous piece of music in history—Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony.
