Maestro's Musings

It is a tremendous pleasure for me to begin my work as the new Music Director of the Wyoming Symphony Orchestra. I'm honored to be associated with such a fine orchestra and organization and I look forward to a wonderful future together as we strive to bring you the best possible performances of symphonic repertoire, in a comfortable and friendly environment where everyone is welcome.

Nothing compares to the magic of live symphonic music. It begins the moment one enters the concert hall. There's a feeling of anticipation in the air = an expectation that what's about to happen will transport you to a special emotional and spiritual plane. No one knows ahead of time how it will turn out. The atmosphere is charged with intensity. The drama is captivating. The music making is electric.

As we enter our 59th concert season, we promise to electrify you with captivating performances of some fo the greatest music ever written. We'll present a wide variety of music from the Baroque period through the 20th Century. We'll welcome a fantastic array of world-class guest artists and team up with the Casper Children's Chorale as well. With a few surprises mixed in, we promise a thrilling journey for all.

Please join us for this exciting season of symphonic music and experience the magic of the Wyoming Symphony Orchestra!

Enjoy!
