Classical Serenade

Join us for an evening of timeless classical music that builds on the WSO's 75th Season theme, blending romantic and contemporary works. The concert will open with Grieg’s Holberg Suite, showcasing the WSO strings in a spirited and elegant Baroque-inspired suite. Following this, the winds will perform DvoÅ™ák’s Serenade for Winds, a beautiful piece that highlights the charm of each wind instrument. To conclude the evening, the full orchestra will unite for Haydn's Symphony No. 45 “Farewell”, a symphony that brings unique attention to the oboes, bassoon, horns, and strings. Leading us through this exceptional program is guest conductor Pat Patton, a Casper native and former Director of Choral Activities at Casper College.
